Biographies:
Greg Bem is an American poet and librarian who currently lives in Seattle. He is interested in new technologies, the West, and gaming. You can visit him on Twitter @gregbem.
Amaranth Borsuk’s most recent collection of poems is Pomegranate Eater, just out from Kore Press. Her books include As We Know, a book-length erasure collaboration with Andy Fitch; Handiwork; and Between Page and Screen, a book of augmented-reality poems created with Brad Bouse. Abra, an intermedia project with Kate Durbin and Ian Hatcher, received an NEA-funded Expanded Artists’ Books grant and was recently released as a limited-edition artists’ book and free iPad/iPhone app with a trade edition from 1913 Press. Other collaborative digital projects include an erasure bookmarklet, The Deletionist, with Nick Montfort and Jesper Juul, and Whispering Galleries, a site-specific LeapMotion erasure work for the city of New Haven. Borsuk teaches in the MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics and the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at the University of Washington, Bothell.
Ilsa Olsen is a Seattle based writer and performer. She studied theater and film at the University of Washington. Ilsa sang and studied voice for five years with local ensemble Viva Vocalists, frolicked with Lucia Neare’s Theatrical Wonders, and has had work featured in Spin the Bottle and Seattle Fringe Festival.
Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore is a devastating faggot and a charming queen. She’s the author of a memoir and two novels, and the editor of five nonfiction anthologies. Her most recent title, The End of San Francisco, won a Lambda Literary Award, and her most recent anthology, Why Are Faggots So Afraid of Faggots?: Flaming Challenges to Masculinity, Objectification, and the Desire to Conform, was an American Library Association Stonewall Honor Book. She recently finished a third novel, Sketchtasy, and she’s ready to tantalize you with a preview.
